I’m Laurie Brown and I’ve been a lot of things in my life: a daughter, a field hockey player, a college student, a carnival worker, a textbook editor, a wife, a mom, a reluctant financial officer, and a writer. I live in Salem, NH with my husband Marc and our two dogs Lulu and Lucy. Our children are grown and live far away. But that’s okay. I love to travel and visit them as often as I can.

In addition to writing for children, I write cozy mysteries for adults under the name L.S. Brown. My short fiction has appeared in Punk Noir and Literary Garage.
